So what exactly is a squeeze page? A squeeze page is the page on your site that gets the customer to actually invest in you.
This might be signing up for your newsletter, buying a product or even just giving you certain personal details.
For many people, it's the page where you get people to give you their email address so that they can be added to your email list.
Before even building and kind of squeeze page, you need to make sure that your website offers some kind of value to the customer.
Ideally, your customers will want to learn more from you, so they'll be actively searching for a way to achieve that.
Ideally a squeeze page should come right after a few pages of create content.
For example, supposing your website is about finding great holiday destinations in the United Kingdom.
You could have a few great pages full of information, than offer them the chance to sign up for your email list so that they can receive up-to-date information as soon as it's released.
You should never just ask for a person's email address and name - you need a reason WHY you want it (and you need to make this reason clear to them).
Ideally the reason should have something to do with offering more value, such as offering them a free eBook or audio book if they sign up.
