intergrating LDAP server with my java/j2ee application....

My requirement is i hve to connect to the existing LDAP server from my application.....

I hve a hyperlink in my jsp page and upon clicking that i shud connect to my LDAP sever and a address book (exactly as in outlook address book) shud open.

My idea is i wil connect to the LDAP server using the LDAP server name, userna me and password..... But how to display the username, email id and i shud also provide an option to search user from that list. Should i create a GUI for that or can i use an existing LDAP client?
