i want 2 fire a servlet automatically at a specified time by tomcat 5.0.

Why not create a scheduled task (in Windows) or a daemon in *nix to start/stop the context associated with the servlet?Do a search in these forms for old posts regarding the starting and stopping of contexts....HTH.
