Hibernate and KOI8

I use PostgreSQL 7.4 with KOI8-R encoding. Using Hibernate2, I want to make changes in my DB but the changes data 爏tores in the UTF. Before making changes I take the data in the correct format, but saving the data, they change the encoding into the UTF. 燞ow can I make changes in the KOI8-R using hibernate?
