3510 FC Array

I am setting up a 3510 FC array, attached to 2xv490s locally via on-board HBA cards. Do I have to setup the 3510 on it's own network interface? I figured I could see the unit via the fibre connections into the HBAs to do a setup?Any ideasThanksJW

You can manage the 3510 in-band but best practice says that both ethernet controllers should be attached to an administration network.

You can use the serial port to configure the array also.

To use the in-band option, you need to download and install the array software (I think the latest version is 2.3 which is available at

)

Interesting, I did try the Stor-SW, through the GUI when I was on the site, and soon through cli. Though it would not display any "detectable" disks or hardware?

Im assuming I need to somehow force my v490s to see the attached array, either through firmware upgrade or something?
