Did you use the correct DAS port (4848 is the default) ? Are there any exceptions / SEVERE errors reported during server startup in install_dir/domains/domain1/logs/server.log ? If you tried to access using http://localhost:4848, try accessing http://blah1.blah2.com:4848 or http://<ip address>:4848 (assuming you are using the defaul admin port) and see if that works
