While configuring calendar server you have the option to select

"Start Calendar Server on System Startup". Make sure you select this

option, so that calendar server will be started on system start-up.

and if you didn't do it during configuration, you can manually create

a link in /etc/rc3.d/

S94sunwics5 -> /opt/SUNWics5/cal/sbin/sunwics5.rc
