Create new layouts in Impress?

I like using Impress because it's easier for me to use on Linux than getting Crossover to work 100%. However, the 3-slide Handouts layout is extremely inefficient and I have to manually re-arrange the layout for each presentation I need to print out. Is there a way to create new layouts so I could just select my custom layout without having to unlock sizes and positions, translate and resize, etc... each time I need to print (which happens to be multiple times per day)?
