Java Enteprise System Licensing

Hi

Ive downloaded the Java Enterprise System but im totally confused about whether I can delpoy it without buying support. When you download Solaris you get an email saying how many machines you can use it on but not with the enterprise system.

Where can I get a definitive answer about what I can and cant do with the software

The lack of this information on the main Java ES website

is being corrected.I apologize for the difficulty you are

having in finding this information.

The information you are looking for was provided in the

License Agreement that you should have accepted prior to

downloading the software. You can go back to the download

site to view the license agreement. Here's an excerpt:

>Licensed Unit Count: Unlimited

>

>Permitted Uses: You may reproduce and use the Software

>internally for Your own Individual, Commercial, Service

>Provider, or Research and Instructional Use, subject to and

>conditioned on Your compliance with the Additional Terms

>below.

You will need to go back to the download site to view the

additional terms.I couldn't find an easy way to link to it here

given the link goes through a session id that will expire.

Essentially you have an unlimited right to use the software

commerically, unlimited RTU. If you require support or

indemnification then you will need to purchase a subscription

to the product or suite you are interested in.
