Bug Report Interface for Community user
Hello,
Good news for communitty users of Sun Studio product. If you think you found a bug (defect) or Request for Enhancement (RFE) with Sun Studio, you can report it to us. We are so excited about having another channel to listen to you and to serve you.

Check the box under header "Submit a Bug", and click on button "Start a new Report"
Under "Product/Category" pulldown menu, you will see 8 entries for eight components of Sun Studio under the main title "Sun Studio Compilers and Tools"
- What happen after you a submit bug report or RFE?
After submitted a report, you will receive an email contains an Incident case ID. Sun support will use this Incident case ID to communicate with you for more information in case we needed . In case of the bug report, it would be helpful if you can have all the information (test case, instruction etc...) to help us re-produce the problem.
if the report turn out to be a real bug or RFE, Sun Support will file the bug/RFE in Sun official Change Request system on behalf of you, the customer. Sun Support will also send out an email to notify you the bugID.
Important Note: this page is only for community users without support contract. If you have support contract, please continue to use official support channel to get Sun excellent personal attention support services.
