The most basic version of SunMC 3.5.x is free, and the enhanced packages are available with a 60-day eval licenses. I recommend you at least set up the basic free version to get the hardware monitoring support, then evaluate your needs from there. You should at least consider adding the ASM (Advanced System Monitoring) pack as it does an excellent job of monitoring your OS and apps.
