Solaris 9 x86 Installation problem
I have downloaded Solaris 9 12/02 OE for x86 for $20 and created 3 CD disks from the ISO files. Browsing this and other forums I see that I am not alone in having trouble during the installation process.
My problem is that one of the very first things that happens when the computer boots from the CD is that the installation program gives the message "cannot find boot.bin". The computer has booted from the CD at this point since the screen has changed to blue and setup program has printed out Suns name and version number, etc.
My question is really if anyone have come across a good link that describes the installation process for x86 Solaris 9?
If anyone also knows where my boot.bin file has gone and what action I should take to get it where the setup program wants it to be, I would appreciate it very much too.
