e-mail merge with StarOffice 8: The pictures lost using e-mail merge

Dear Srs., please help us. The pictures includes in a .dot document not arrived using e-mail merge of StarOffice 8. Why?. I tryed saving and sending original document how HTML, .doc. and nothing, the document arrive without pictures. I use Outlook Express. If I send document how e-mail from Word 2002 all is ok.
