OBP for Ultra60 & SunBlade 1000

Actually I am asking this because I have small problem as follows: Fatal SCSI error at script address 10 Unexpected disconnect

I have SCSI diff cartridge drive IBM 3590 connected thru X6541(375-0006) to the Sun Ultra 60, this device is working OK after booting, only when I did probe-scsi-all I got this message :

and this also appears if I connect to the Sun Blade 1000,

and if I connect to the Sun Blade 1000 it is OK (can show the device).

I haven't upgraded the OBP of the Sun Ultra60 & SB1000.

Do you think is this the cause ? but if I see the patch of 106455-11, the OBP looks the same.

I have tried to update the OBP of my Sun Blade 1000, but I have problem after I move the jumper of J2103 from 1-2 to 2-3, my console window doesn't show anything and my keyboard also is not functioning.

Please advise

Hi All,

I managed to upgrade OBP of Blade 1000 after having some difficulties, atually the jumper location of J2103 is different than the manual, Physially it is on the right side and also the write enable is on 1-2 instead of 2-3.

After I upgrade the OBP of my Blade1000, then my problem of doing probe-ssi-all for IBM 3490 disappeared.

So now I am still having problem on my Ultra60, and my question is there any pathes to upgrade OBP of Ultra60 from 3.31 ?
