How does Sun ONE Developer Platform compare with Eclipse?

Sun ONE Developer Platform is a complete platform used to enable Sun ONE-based
deployments and so includes both key tools and deployment servers with the intent
of quickly getting proof of concepts going. One of the tools is Sun ONE Studio
which is based on the Netbeans framework which is a competitive offering to
Eclipse.
Sun ONE Studio along with Sun ONE Application Framework and Sun ONE Connector
Builder offer the enterprise development team with a set of integrated tools for
the various developer roles typically needed in the enterprise. However, it
should also be noted that Java applications developed on alternative tools
including Eclipse-based development environments will work on Sun ONE Developer
Platform as well.
