Mac OS X

Once I install the jar version, how do I run the IDE?

"While Mac OS X is an unsupported platform it is possible to install and run Sun ONE Studio, however you must use the JAR format installer ((ffj_ce_en.jar, 37.30 MB) to install the CE version. Apple supplies Mac OS X with its own implementation of JDK 1.3.1, which is 100% compliant only in 10.1+ versions of OS X, therefore make sure that you have Mac OS X 10.1+. S1S will not run on previous version of OS X. "

Ive been working for 11 days straight trying to get this going. I installed the jwsdp under root (because thats the only way the installer can see the java 1.4.1) Ive installed Coldfusion (which cant work until I get the jwsdp going) I cant get Tomcat to start or stop. NONE of the forums or instructions are really helpful. There is NO support for OS X and frankly Im surprised that there arent people out there willing to help!

Ive been posting an various forums, (which I hope were relevant to the topic) and noone knows anything!. The main question is, why6 is everyone else saying they just installed it and its running perfectly? Am I doing something wrong.

Well I hope you got it figured out. If you can help me plz do!
