Identity Server not installed
Hello Forum,
I tried installing the Developer Platform in my machine. I selected Application Server and Identity Server. Installation appeared to have gone fine, but there was nothing installed in Identity Server directory. What went wrong here? Any help on this will be very useful.
Thanks.

This will happen when an installation of Identity Server is already present in the system. Identity Server follows package mechanism for installation and allows only one installation per system. In order to install Identity Server through the Developer Platform, the previous installation of Identity Server should be removed from the system. Once it is removed, the same can be installed successfully through the Developer Platform.
This has been mentioned in the readme-solaris.html available in the <installation-directory>/docs directory.

I've uninstalled the identity server, and still the installer will not allow me to reinstall. It says that it is still installed even though it is not. Also, the original installation directory is gone and all references in the registry are gone also. Any ideas on how to successfully reinstall this server? TIA
