J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 9 Installation Hangs Up

I am installing the J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 9.

The installation hangs up before it completes.

Why would it be hanging up?

I need some ideas on things to look for and/or check.

I already have j2re1.4.2_03 and j2re1.4.2_05 installed.

Do I need to uninstall these before installing J2SE 5.0?
